Has mastery of all the moves and countermoves in the book:

He is currently on an incredible tear, scoring 25 ppg at near 60% TS while creating 60% of his shots. He famously came out of Duke without a jumper but is now sinking mid-range jumpers effortlessly.

Boogie is also not a 19 year old averaging 25 ppg at 60% TS with sky-high usage when tasked to create his own shot every night. I truly thinks that Okafor, if he can get his conditioning on point and escape the Sixers hellhole, is the next transcendental offensive talent after Curry is out of his peak.

He would look good in a Houston Rockets uniform

Yes, he is the most talented post player in the NBA. Unfortunately he plays in an era where it doesn't matter as much as it used to. He really needs to rebound and defend better.

Towns has nothing on this guy on the offensive side except three pointers. It's quite hilarious to see how poorly today's big men defend the post. Okafor simply has to palm the ball and to wave it in front of defenders for them to get airborne or buy the fake like scrubs.

Nothing except for the fact that he has a higher shooting percentage, higher ft percentage, better rebounder, much better range, and I think he is a better passer too....but other than that he has nothing on Okafor.

KAT simply can't create his own shot like Okafor. That's what separate a true superstar from a mere star.

Really good draft class this year. I'd still rather have KAT as has the best overall skill set, but Okafor looks like he could be special too. The way he handles the ball for his size with his monster hands palming the ball is pretty impressive when he puts it on the floor.

neither of them are superstars or stars for that matter so creating your own shot to separate the two really doesn't mean much here. Although Okafor is definitely talented offensively at the moment, KAT is right there with him.

Love his game, though he needs to improve rebounding and ft%. I doubt he ever becomes a good shot blocker and defender, but as long as he can play average post D, he would be great next to a defensive minded front court partner. Sure would love to see what Okafor could do with several summers spent with Hakeem.

No. And the stats on unassisted field goal percentage bear this out quite clearly. Okafor can be given the ball and tasked with carrying an offense at excellent effieciency. KAT? Not so much.

He would be unstoppable if he developed a left jump hook.

Well you have your mind made up. I won't try to convince you with numbers or anything. Okafor does have a great post and face up game, but he can't shoot and he is a below average rebounder. He also looks like he has a long way to go before he can start to create for his teammates on offense.

I don't know why you are bringing up this superstar and star stuff. KAT is far ahead of Okafor in the superstar category. Okafor doesn't do well at the things big men need to do. His defense is bad and he can't rebound. Those things usually don't improve for players.

you might not think he is but KAT overall skillset puts him right there with okafor. just because he has a better back to the basket game right now doesn't automatically put him so high above KAT. sounds like youre overrating JO a bit much right now tbh. we get it you're a big fan

He plays for the fecking Sixers, a team purposely made up of scrubs. What the hell are you talking about? Okafor is given the ball and tasked with putting the ball in the hoop every night because his teammates won't even if their lives depended on it. And of course, defense and rebounding can be improved as they are still skills to be perfected. Hell, even Harden improved on defense when he actually tried to.
