You have people with mediocre intelligence, mediocre morals and give them the power and ability to do things that civilians cannot do. Further they justify each other getting over and call each other heroes.

What do you think happened? They got away with doing **** other people couldn't and got fat and lazy about it.

The thing is, things overall are very good in Houston... So most people just don't give a damn because their lives are good.

The dude killed someone. He deserves to go to jail.

 

Yeah, oddly enough for a murder trial, the accused being innocent or guilt is truly the least interesting thing about this case now. And he's clearly guilty.

I agreed with you early in this thread but the more that comes out about the incompetence of the investigation makes me question whether this guy would ever get a fair trial. I would love for the defense to expose the HCSO.

They should just offer the guy a plea deal 5 or 10 years or something the guy would jump for. The cops probably don't want this going to trial who knows the fallout from it.

 

I have no idea what happened other than some dude killed a cop.

After that things got incredibly weird and impossible to follow.

I need some kind of tl;dr.

 

Haven't followed this case much. Is it a slam dunk sure shot that the accused is guilty? The side show is getting all the attention and it's not clear what quality of evidences they have and if the defense is making any claim of innocent at all.
