Ty Lawson traded to the Rockets!

I agree. Our team wasn't going to beat golden state. Harden asked for help in the back court. We got a guy who was second in the league to Chris Paul in assists per game I believe for our end of the bench players. Josh smith would have been nice to hang on to but I feel like we really don't know what happened with that situation. The whole cranking threes situation I blame on money but where would we be without the guy?

Rubio would stand in the corner and wait for harden to dribble out the clock I fear, but on the defensive end he would fit better

 

I could actually see Rubio running our offense. Rubio is actually a playmaker.

But for some reason, I see Ty helping us a lot this year in the playoffs.

 

Timing of this is peculiar. Since returning from the suspension, Ty has started looking a lot more comfortable and his minutes have increased as a result.

 

Rubio run this offense? nope. won't be happening as long as JH plays the same way he does. doesn't matter who you put at the pg position. They will turn into a spot up shooter.

 

IIRC he didn't play at all in Utah.

I view the suspension as a good thing....it removes that part of the "risk" of acquiring him if you're another team.

 

Please, please give him time. Once we get our sh straight, he'll shine here. I'd hate to see him shine elsewhere as soon as we let him go.

 

Did you ever watch Ty with the Nuggets? If he wasn't a playmaker then I'm not sure who qualifies as one.

 

If Ty Lawson doesn't fit with the Rockets, then Ricky friggin' Rubio sure as hell doesn't fit with the Rockets.

 

Rockets don't fit with the rockets. It's not Ty.
