There was no monster dunk. How does he know it was Spurs scout? Overreacting much wishful thinking

This kid has a more highly developed post game than Okafor because he's way smarter than Okafor and quicker into and out of his moves.

Don't get me started, Sabonis PER 32(while Ben Simmons 34.4) and Gonzaga played much allready played two top25 teams.

Sabonis most dominant factor is defense. His carrier(his and last season) ORtg - DRtg = 127 - 92 = 35!(It's Kwai numbers). He grabs 19.2% of total rebounds with converts to 14.2rb/40 min.

He's strong version of K.Love on the glass, put him on the court now he'll grab twice as rebounds as TJ and DMo combined.

He also score 13 points in 2min. 17s stretch last game!

He isn't handling the ball in transition much at Gonzaga, but in Euro U20s it seemed that he has pretty good handles for a big. Not great, but good. Similar to DMo I guess as evidenced a little bit in this video:

This kid absolutely a lottery pick.

Hold your horses. He is very good at a collegiate level and seems to have a very high floor, but as far as prospects go, top picks in drafts are usually high ceiling guys who can become All-Stars or better. Sabonis is unlikely to reach that level.

Seems to care about working hard off the court, and his work seems to be translating on the court. I predict he'll be a top 10 player in his draft.

It's always useful (but not always decisive) to have a former star basketball player letting you know where the bar should be set. Seems like a smart kid and Lithuanians are well coached too.

Haha, ok ok. But in my eyes he is a NBA ready. I won't pretend to know for sure he will be an All-Star. At this point he will be a very nice role player for his future NBA team. Maybe not as good as his father, but still good enough to thrive in this league. I will root for this kid. :)

I do agree that he is already ready for some minutes in the NBA. He could already be a productive player for some non-playoff teams, playing 15-20mpg each night. The problem with his draft stock will always be his relatively low perceived ceiling.

But hey, scouting is not really an exact science. Scouts were saying Draymond Green will not amount to an adequate NBA defender too. Haha.

Draymond actually was good in collage especially as Jr. and Senior, but was trash stats as freshman that's way he was late pick.

Even as DMo fan, I would take Sabonis jr. on D any given day. He just rebound machine, not like DMo o even TJ.

He's starting to get really good at facilitating to his teammates. He should eventually become a top20 pick if he continues this level of play.

Depends on how deep Gonzaga will go this year.

I doubt they'll repeat their last years success of Elite 8. They should get into Sweet 16 though. Their backcour is quite sub-par compared to the frontcourt.

Okafor's offense is literally transcending. This guy is D-Mo level or worse.
