Been away and unable to watch much of the sport since before last season. Just started watching the Rox again a few weeks ago and I'm told we have decided to play the whole season with an interim coach. Can someone explain please....

Because Les fired McHale and is too cheap to pay another top guy while McHale is getting his......he took the easy road, and basically gave up on this year.

Not on the coach in my opinion. This team won 56 games last season with these coaches.

Good luck getting a coach to take the job midseason much less interview for the job much less even talk about the job in public. (See: JVG)

Rockets scapegoated Kevin McHale but did not have an interim coach on staff.

Thibodeau or Van Gundy or all the other wild fantasies fans had weren't happening midseason.

Can JB really do anything when your so called MVP is lazy, not a leader, selfish, and unmotivated?

    I see

I'm struggling to see what was achieved sacking Kevin McHale then if they weren't going to replace him? Might as well have finished the season....

Small ball works only because these midgets start trying harder, when they have big guys on court they expect big guys to do all the defense.

Because a coach would actually want to take over.... It's a two way street.... People just assume since thibs and jvg are out there, they would want to take the job mid season...

Yes they can, good ones can - guys that can come in and motivate those that need that, push those that need that and coddle the ones that need that.

Bickerstaff may be a good coach one day, but that day is not today.

It's basically the same players from a year ago, minus JSmoove! The addition of Lawson was/is a TOTAL failure! With structure and disciple just about every kid excels, lack thereof will guarantee totally the opposite results!

Thibs should be the coach, we need a disciplinarian, this team lacks any form of discipline, heck I'd trade a pick for Brett Brown
