How is anybody gonna beat this team? You got the second coming of MJ on the team, poor man's Lebron, Rip Hamilton Jr and Bobby Jones FO FO FO off the bench. And that's not even to mention Harrison Barnes penchant to go big shot bob in the playoffs.
Not to mention poor man's Pippen in Andre Iguodala, especially now that he's hitting jumpers relatively consistently. They're pretty loaded.
So... Curry is poor man's Jordan. Thompson is poor man's Hamilton. Green is poor man's Lebron. Iggy is poor man's Pippen. Barnes is poor man's Horry. Bogut is poor man's Bobby Jones. Kerr is poor man's Phil Jackson. Livingston is poor man's Magic Johnson. This team is just full of poor men.
He is a good passer, but he can't handle the ball full time like Lebron can. I think rich man's chuck hayes is a better comparison. He can shoot which hayes could not.
I wouldn't say Klay is a poor man's Thompson. I think he's a Mitch Richmond level player. In fact i think of all the Warriors, he's the first to break it up because he will want to prove himself on his own eventually. I think Curry is more of a Pistol Pete. Green is more of an anomaly. He's the same player but he's increased his assists by 3.5 which is crazy for a tweener PF. I guess poor man's LeBron is fine. Maybe LeBron can change his game to be a lot like Greens when he eventually loses the athletic ability. I think Barnes can be a Sean Elliot type of player with better D. Iggy has always had the poor man's Pip comparisons. It's a very very nice team, but for me i don't think greatest ever material.
Yes indeed, underestimated his game but I would trade all our powerforwards for him. He is a difference maker .
