hit taylor hard and early so it will discourage him leaving the pocket. other than that, keep playing the way they have been and we should win 22-10.
What the Texans have done well lately that I find encouraging for the game, is they have been maintaining Rushing lanes. Should bode well against Taylor. It has been a constant pocket push from our D line leaving the QBs no where to go.
Disagree. They lost two of there starting DLineman in Carrington and Williams. They will also have to start guys off the street or practice squad at the LB positions. Rex Ryan says if Mario plays it will be limited. I think we will be able to run on them fairly well. Expecting a 28-10 thrashing.
They get three points for simply being at home so basically they're saying its a toss up. If the offense does their part we should take this one on the strength of our defense once again.
The LBs are going to have their work cut out for them. Tyrod is no Cam Newton but Cam burnt this defense for 76 yards and one TD. We don't really know how this defense, especially the DBs and safeties, handles a running QB who also can throw it deep.
Ehh This isn't the same D Can would struggle against this D and if I remember correctly that game consisted of many missed tackles in key situations.
Hoyer won't have 5-7 seconds staying in the pocket to look around and then throw a pick like he did in the last game against the worst defense in the league, he will probably get 2-3 seconds to force a throw this game. That alone will translate to more picks by our QB. Your best chance to win this game will be hoping for Hoyer got knock out early and TJ Yate coming in, well he may still throw some picks, but most likely will be long balls and hope that just serves as a bad punt and still give a better chance to the Texans.
That's why I said we don't know how they will do against a running QB because we haven't seen them since their recent turnaround.
Playing against a running QB is more related to : discipline, focus, and good tackle. For that, I believe this team vastly improved on these area the last few games. That won't be the area we should worry about. On the other hand, even though we scored some points the last few games, its not like our offense is have the same level of improvement our D had the last few weeks. To be honest, our offense still suck, to have 6 wins so far has very little to do with it.
Watch out for Taylor and Mccoy; Watkins, Clay, and Woods are their best guys at WR especially Watkins
^when you look at Hoyer stats, he seems like a quality starter. Visually, he starts strong, but it always seems like the team is in danger of losing, even if we're up by a good margin. The dude simply is not a closer. Whereas, TJ, as ineffective as he is at times, is clutch AF. Tangible
Not that ESPN rankings mean anything....but it's still nice to hear them talking about the team. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:14265999
QUESTION: Why is Rex Ryan considered a great or even good coach? I have completely forgotten Rocket River
