imso, there was nothing like Hakeem waking one NY Knicks game at home in Feb 01?. The Summit went electric.

And who can forget the Moochie 3OT win when there was no league pass, but I had the tape to send to a dozen CFnetters...Will?

usually, and as custom, most people capitalize the word "English." What are you, oriental?

Nothing compares to the game we witnessed last season. That was the most unforgettable game I've ever seen live.

In 01-02 when we had lost 15 in a row without Francis and we finally won a game. In hindsight I was a lot more excited than I should have been.

I don't remember much from that "Era". Only 3 seasons.
Didn't Redd go 3PT crazy one game?

Francis and Mobley got TOO CLOSE at some point. Not sure how quickly the romance started.

The Francis era before Yao got there? Well, the year before we got Yao was in 2001. The team wasn't very good and so nothing was ever televised. This was pre-league pass and all that so I couldn't catch a game. I happen to be driving thru Houston to Baton Rouge during the game against Portland. The team seemed to find ways to lose, but on this one they found a way to win. And I caught the entire 4th quarter. Ended up winning by 7. Cuttino and Steve must have had it going that day.

I don't remember any particular game. I just remember Cat averaging 22 points a game on two bum ankles. Cat was so underrated. He would have had a much better career if it weren't for Francis.

This was, if only because of the match up.

I thought it was when we acquired Michael Dickerson, Othella Harrington, Brent Price, and Antoine Carr. Or was it when we traded Horry and Cassell for a twilight Barkley, thus making us bad enough to get those guys that got us Francis which leads me to believe it might actually be the day we drafted Pat Riley...

My favorite game was in the '99 season versus when we played the Trailblazers at home in the summit. It was my first game with floor seats and mind you this is the season after Scottie was traded to the Blazers. The blazers had a pretty stacked team, but that didn't stop the Franchise from dominating. I remember the picture on clutchfans where Stevie finished an alley-oop and rode Sabonis' back. I will never forget the Franchise era. He brought excitement and passion that can only be matched (in my eyes) with the championship teams & now with Harden. I remeber yelling at Scottie and him turning towards me with one of the scariest looks one can receive.

I remember watching games asking myself, "What is Stevie going to do tonight?".

Don't bite the hand that makes your sandwiches.
