Southland. Not a new show by any means but definitely one of my favorites. Really great cop show that gives new perspective towards being a cop in a very dangerous LA. From street cops to homicide to child protective services, this show intermingles all of it and does it in a way thats very thrilling and is shot in a way that puts you in the scenario. Just re-watched the last season and man is it good. Sad that it got cancelled before it could wrap up the ending. Please dont let that deter anybody from giving it a chance though, you will not be disappointed. Great, great show.
I finally got to it last night. Oh my lord. I was sobbing and gasping and my dog thought something was horribly wrong and climbed on my lap (he's 70 lb). What a perfect, perfect series finale. I can't imagine anything that could have been better.
I started watching after 3 had aired, have been very impressed with it. Look for to each new episode. Big Time was gold! I like most of the performers in Another Period, good solid laughs so far. Helps that I think Natasha Leggero is so hot.
So you're telling me a show named "Humans" have actual robots and a show named "Mr.Robot" is not a show about robots? What the....
I just want it to be known that I was telling you guys about Humans before it even aired in the US. The little boy on The Strain must be stopped. WTF, Under the Dome... WTF?
i caught the first 2 episodes of 12 monkeys. it held my add to a complete halt, enough to want to keep going. we'll see how it goes. i'm always skeptical of shows airing on sci"fy". part of the charm about the movie was figuring out if he was a time traveler or a loonie, in the show they say f' that he is a time traveler in the first 5 minutes. Yeah that kid in the strain got obnoxious. I hate when they recast characters.
Online, the show is about 2 weeks ahead of what is airing on TV in the U.S. Can't wait for the finale next week.
NEW QUESTION: Which Shows are losing you/Lost you? PROOF - It was an interesting concept but devolving into blah Murder in the First -Police Procedural but not standing out for me Mr. Robot - Descending fast True Detective - Get to the Point Already - Two Episodes left . . they either going to be the most compact condense storytelling of all time . .. . or will leave us significantly disappointed Rocket River
humans has been pretty decent show. too many recent sci fi shows are too heavy on effects and cgi which never looks good on tv. nice to see something in the genre with a story and characters which require acting.
Yep. Amazing. Powerful, haunting, and perfect. That's a series that I will never go back and watch again. Only want to experience it once. The finale is emblazoned into my memory.
Saw 2 really good new shows this week. Blunt Talk with Patrick Stewart http://www.chron.com/entertainment/article/Patrick-Stewart-flexes-his-comedy-muscle-in-6455473.php Documentary with Bill Hader and Fred Armisen http://www.theatlantic.com/entertai...umentary-now-the-jokes-in-the-details/401864/ You're going to have to look for them and watch the first episode on ON Demand but both are worth it.
Just getting around to watching Suits and Mr. Robot. Finished TDII. Anybody else watch the Deadliest Catch... LOL.
How was Eastbound & Down? Worth checking out? And I stopped watching Ballers after the 1st episode.. should I go back?
Just saw the finally of KillJoys Unless there is nothing else of note out and I am bored I don't know if I will be back for next season The show has been cliche after cliche It even ends on a cliche to setup the next cliche Rocket River
I found eastbound and down to be laugh out loud funny but I don't think its for everyone. I'd give it a shot. You'll know very quickly if it's for you.
what do you think about Dark Matter? You still watching? Dark matter is the same - cliche after cliche, but I like Dark Matter. I wish the characters of Dark Matter were in the world of Killjoys or just had Killjoy's budget.
