Come on dude, I didn't say anything wrong towards Hakeem, I just said that Jordan is better. Jordan is the best ever. So I vote for YES

Oh, so now LOVE is a factor? So it went from what most GMs would pick if they traveled into past to who is more loveable after the careers ended? My original answer to original question stands. Jordan any day, no brainer. Because GMs are smart people who risk their jobs and lives when they draft, love he says No one loved tinman, he needs all love he can get, someone give him some luv. <3
Look, go to Chicago and lick Jordan's statue. you are not a clutchfan cause you have no love for Clutch City.
I was born in 92. So I never saw Jordan or Hakeem play. However being born and raised in Houston. HAKEEM ALL THE WAY! =))))))
Jordan is/was the greatest of all time. However, he wouldn't of stayed around through the dark years after we lost Ralph, Wiggins, Lloyd, and Fitch. I think we could of had a better series against the Celtics in 86 with him but I just don't know if MJ/Sampson could of actually beaten them. Once that series ended, it was all downhill for the Rockets for 6-7 years. Jordan didn't have the patience for it. He needed a team and the Rockets FO made some bad moves for quite a few years. So, Hakeem was the best fit for us, it's an intriguing question but #34 all day. Now, what if we traded Ralph and a few others for draft rights to MJ. Hakeem and MJ. Think about that, at least 8 championships and I'm not even being sarcastic. It would of been the greatest team of all time. There would be no line up from 85 to 99 that could of consistently stopped them.
To be fair, I tried to look up images of both "Jordan blocks Hakeem" and "Hakeem blocks Jordan". The images are the same. But then I thought, maybe I'll try "Jordan defends Hakeem" and this came up: Try it yourself bulls fan layup guy. It was a simple google image search. But Jordan dunked on everyone, right? I bet there's tons of pictures of Jordan dunking on Hakeem. Yep, here's one: Spoiler
I didn't watch Hakeem or Jordan. I probably would rather us have had Jordan, he's considered the greatest player of all time next to Lebron. Although, I know Hakeem is very, very awesome and one of the best, if not the best, center of all time. I would only rather have Jordan if he would have stayed for the majority of his career like Hakeem did.
No because that would mean Hakeem would have played his whole career with Drexler. Maybe the Bulls, but not the Blazers. Olajuwan/Drexler would be a tough combo. Everyone knows there's no drama within the fraternity of phi slamma jamma.
Horace Grant, Hakeem and Scotty Pippen would have made Parish, McHale and Bird look soft. The Rockets made the right pick.
