Lawson can do a lot of the same things in the open court that John Wall does in Washington. Though he's not on the same level as the guys you mentioned, hopefully Ariza can be a close approximation this year.

Morey does it again. Rockets go from having a hole at PG to having one of the strongest PG duos in the NBA.

    Lawson
    Harden
    Ariza
    D-Mo
    Howard

    Bev
    Thornton
    Dekker
    Jones
    Capela

    Loving the depth!!

    The mind boggles.
Denver could have got more from elsewhere I reckon.
There must be more to their desperation.

Getting into the top half of PG play improves the team and makes us a championship contender. This is a big plus on the court. We will still struggle against the elite point guards, but at least now we can make them work on the defensive end and we have another creator with a pedigree to in the NBA and in college.

I think fair for both sides also. While none of the players the Rockets are handing over would contribute much to the Rockets now or in the future, the so called Pooh Richardson platter, there is a little potential there for the Nuggets plus a tradeable pick. They got something.

The rockets get what they need and dump several what one would call empty roster spots, players who were never going to fit in here. And now we too can try to fill those spots with greater potential/value.

I wish Poppy, Nick, and all other much success.

And the FT percentage continues to climb.

From what I can tell, the Rockets can’t do much until December, right? They’ve basically unloaded all possible spare parts at this point. DMo and Jones aren’t making any money. Brewer, McDaniels, and Beverley can’t be traded until December. Ariza is the big piece but incredibly unlikely to be moved.

Personally, I’m pretty happy with our roster. There’s depth at every position and Lawson solve the big issue of the offense being too focused on Harden. I think we can actually see a bit of the Spurs approach of limiting everyone’s minutes for the regular season. Hopefully everyone can stay healthy this year and not be too tired going into the playoffs.

If we add Jason terry, possibly Somone like boozer or Scola or etc, we might be warriors depth like. Speacilly if kJ gets some minutes. He played good for the sixers

Didn't vote in this poll. Sorry.

There's more to this trade than what you know right now. Just wait.
