If he can learn to shoot then I think he will get plenty of minutes. I wonder if he's been practicing his shooting.

All 2nd year players that are still on the team will get minutes.

beverley should play closer to 30 minutes, harden and ariza at 33 would be nice, brewer at 25. that opens up minutes for KJ, but we're also forgetting dekker here.

if he can at least become a 36-38% 3 point shooter, he should steal minutes from brewer. he's a better defender and better finisher because he can play well above the rim.

I hope so too. We could really use the scoring. I have been hearing that he could definitely make up for it on the defensive end.

If KJ improves his 3 point shooting to that level, Brewer shouldn't get minutes.

I've never seen enough of him to know but, I wouldn't think he could crack the rotation. Thornton is going to play. I think Mortey sees him as an asset: Harden injury insurance, trade value secured at a reasonable price, and a 'maybe' breakout player.

He's not always right though so, good luck kid, work hard and make your moms proud.

i actually completely agree with this. i figured if he panned out, it makes brewer expendable next year.

I don't think this is even close to the final roster for 2015-2016. If KJ is one of the players that doesn't get traded he should find minutes, but how many will depend on who is on the roster with him. So it's way too early to predict that.

He's a shooting guard in a PG body who can't pass or playmake for others.

Not unless there are injuries or someone like Brewer or Ariza is traded away at some point.

    Bev/???
    Harden/Thornton
    Ariza/Brewer
    DMo/Jones
    Howard/Capela

Maybe he'll get spot minutes behind Harden at the backup 2 and Thornton slides over and can play the 1 somehow (even though he's pretty much just a shooter).

    He's 6'4". He's a SG in a SG body. He's barely shorter than harden.

Don't be surprised to see KJ lockdown some of the more difficult guards in the league we've had problems defending against this past year

Not really impressed with dunk highlights, but so many more people are saying good things about him. I'm intrigued.
