If the Astros had Mike Trout and Donaldson, Altuve would not be batting in the top 4 batters for the Astros.
At one point, Donaldson was batting 4th and 5th in OAK. They didn't have a Trout-level player leading off or batting 2nd.
Good news, let the guy rest. The fact that this game actually means something in the long run is a travesty. Moreso that fans, on the ****ing internet no less, actually have a say in it.
If Springer was healthy, then you are possibly right..although I would guess Springer Altuve Trout Donaldson Correa In any case, you couldn't really go wrong putting those guys in any order
Keuchel will be the 4th Astro pitcher to start an ASG... first since Clemens in 2004. Impressive for a franchise only 54 years old. 54 years / 4 starts = Once every 13.5 seasons There's roughly been an average of 25 total franchises during this time period, so Stros are about 2x ahead of the pace. Who were the other 2 starters? Nolan? Scott? Richard? I don't remember Oswalt ever starting.

Scott and Richard. Oswalt's two best seasons in 04 and 05, where he very likely could've started the ASG and won a Cy-Young in at least one of those seasons, were eclipsed by his teammate Clemens' psycho seasons those two years.
Except there are only about 15 per league and each league gets a starter. So on average, a team should get a starter every 15 years.
And their hair length matches Yeah, I thought about that earlier this morning. There hasn't been an average of 30 franchises since '61. So Astros are still ahead of the curve, just not as much as initially stated.
