    Morey is going to try to offer him full MLE. But he will pick Dallas because it's his hometown & probably ready to settle back down with his family. Cuban will up his offer of need be

    DWill's problem was mental in New Jersey. He got his payday and realized the Nets were going nowhere so he gave up on his conditioning and effort. Properly motivated, he could be a good guard again. Price tag and risk may be too high for the Rockets, but we should try to make a run at him.

    This is just so weird. So let me get this straight.. the Mavs lose out in fa and decide to tank and THEN Dwill suddendly wants to get bought out to join them? He found the tanking mavs so alluring to agree to a buyout and join them? To be their tank commander?

    injuries were more of a problem than being mental. the injuries started it all which probably led to the decline in Dwill's mentality as his years went on in NJ.

    He didn't say the Mavs have offered a contract to DWill... just noted what Deron wants to do.

    Nets want to get rid of Deron. They likely gave him permission to talk with Dallas so the buyout can move on. The buyout saves the Nets more than it helps the Mavs getting a pg.
