Nothing is official til 7/8 is my understanding so this can go down in any number of ways. I think LMA is still in play but we had to keep our options open. Strong move by Morey. It's a bit expensive for Brewer but will be negligible by next year

I think the kings will go after lou Williams next. Didn't he get 6th man of the year or was in running for it last year?

Cool. Just give Smoove the MLE, and try to work a trade for a point guard.

    Maybe not then....

I thought if he timing of deals included a sign and trade before re-signing Brew with Bird Rights we could pull it off?

Kobe and rondo are friends. I can see him prefering la to reearn his value than sacramento. Un sacramento the situation seems to be so toxic that it wont help him shed the label of cancer.

btw josh smith also had talks with kings.

We're in the same position with Aldridge, if he comes its going to be through S&T. We can still S&T Beverley else where to create salary to trade for Aldridge, we can still trade Ariza, we can still package multiple other players for Aldridge as well.

Signing Brewer didn't change anything in our pursuit for Aldridge.

Do you know if all of them have the same agency? If so the kings should start fighting back with oaks to press. Thats very low blow.

This. It is going to be harder due to the apron but it can be done. Probably would have to shed both Jones and DMo to do it.

Clippers could have $30M-plus in salary cap space next summer -- and become a real threat for Kevin Durant.
