S&T would be great, so we can get something. I do not think Morey will overpay a role player like Bev.
Forget the MLE, we'd still have assets like Tjones, DMO, etc. that could be used for a PG upgrade as well. Bev getting a big contract would be amazing.
I've heard this in a few other posts. So is the current thinking that LMA wants to be the 1st option or at the very least the 2nd option? I can see him being option 1 with SAS, but he'd be depending on TD or himself to hold down the 5. And I don't see another legit backup 5 they can get easily in the market. He'd be at best option 2 with HOU but if a trade could be done without Ariza, that'd be the better fit for him. If indeed he's looking to be Opt 1, there's no perfect fit for him really. He could get that with the Suns, but that's a heck of a risk given where that team is and the direction it's going.

I think it would be in the range of $6-$8 mil per for Bev. Which would put us in great position to sign LMA. If its more like $8-$10m per, we would need to dump Jones ($2.5m), KPap ($4.8m), and Prigs ($1.7m).
Woj is not letting go of the idea that LaMarcus may go back to portland, despite the report that came out this morning with their coach assuming that LMA is gone. Makes me think woj isn't as plugged in on this LMA thing or that there's a lot of misinformation out there.
Bima's Beverley S&T scenario for LMA and keeping Ariza is downright tasty! That would be such a boss move by Morey.
My belief: LMA wants to do a dramatic decision type release (Not tv special, but online release like Lebron and Love) and therefore doesn't want it "narrowed down" or spoiled in any way. They came out hard against the story he was turning down LA.
