A little insurance would be nice. You do know trades may or may not happen

He's not good enough to make a difference in the west. What's Portland going to do with him at the 4, compete for the 9th spot every year?

I take the lack of action on point guard as an indication that Morey has a trade option or two up his sleeve for a veteran. He's waiting for the LMA business to shake out to confirm which way he'll go.

Alternatively, he could just be waiting for the feeding frenzy to stop so he can go out and grab one of the guys who was left without a chair.

Or he really was relying on Llull being the answer, and now he has to scramble for a contingency plan.

Even in the worst case though, it still sounds better than addressing a hole at point guard with a rookie. I'd sooner trade for Ish Smith, or start Brewer and play Harden at PG.

LMA needs to make his decision quick or the Rockets will miss out on free agents...again.

This pretty much has already happened. Hopefully they at least bring back their guys.

Please explain who you would have signed with our non-existent cap room? I'm not making cap freeing moves for anybody other than LMA, and the only guy of interest was Dunleavy, who would have used up all of the MLE or more.

Agree. A rookie at the PG position outside of Russell was never going to lead a WC Finalist into the season. I'm sure Morey has a possible trade scenario or two that could land what Harden wants and the team needs.

Troll tweet. How does he not know SA's % when he just said Houston's at 75-85% and PHX is at 0%

I called it when Bosh played Houston, it was obvious. Not as obvious, LMA will say he is coming to Houston tonight and Terence Jones will be in Philadelphia in the morning.

Jordan is staying in LA and the West is going to be one crazy ride to the Finals next year. 2016,17 NBA champion Houston Rockets.

Nope. He back tracked and said SA has a higher % chance of getting him. He claimed that "it's like where one team has a 99% chance of winning a game and the other team has a 75% chance of winning." It doesn't make sense but hey. Doc will somehow claim to be right in the end.
