Yeah well, same story every year. But that's the nature of the NBA-- elite players are hard to get. Can't be mad if they choose to go elsewhere. The frustrating part of last season wasn't that Bosh chose to stay in Miami-- it's just his personal choice-- it's that when the Rockets CHOSE not to pursue available talent as hard as they could have (like Lowry).

They won't be able to match salaries without Ariza, will they?

I really do not know. If I was a betting man though I would put my money on Portland wanting DMO instead of Ariza.

Not sure why you think so. Now sure why what Portland wants is all that relevant.

You really do not understand the cap do you?

In order to get LaMarcus Aldridge, we HAVE to get rid of Trevor Ariza.

The reason I don't believe they would want Ariza is his age and his contract. They would be in a rebuild mode. They would be for young assets.

Yes, I do not understand the cap. I asked Bima if we had to get rid of Trevor Ariza. Since we do have to get rid of Ariza, it probably be in a three team trade.

I'm sure they would absolutely be interested in a good trade piece in Ariza.

No, it wouldn't take a 3 team trade. The salary cap is going to be about $67M this year. Meaning teams have $67M to spend on their roster. Next summer, that number is expected to increase to $89M. Trevor Ariza, next summer, maybe one of the biggest bargain contracts in the entire NBA. Portland would be STUPID not to want him..

How if they will be in rebuild mode. The contract of Ariza will hinder them from rebuilding. I am sorry for saying that we don't have to include him for LMA. I believe it will be in a three team trade.

Okay, I give in. I am in the stance though that we include any one not named Harden and Howard to get LMA.

Ummm absolutely he would and he's a super defender. The Suns are fools to take Knight ov er Bledsoe but then again it's the Suns so it's not surprising

Then lets get him for sure. We need a pg that can run a offense and shoot.

Bledsoe would be a good "get" but (a) Llull and (b) Morey's penchant to chase star power forwards.

    Like it or not.

Don't be fooled by the silence from Llull's camp. I think that's how Morey wants it.

I would think he's after Love or Aldridge.

Should we go after a pg or a pf this offseason? Is it possible to get LMA and Bledsoe on the Rockets?

So you think the silence from Lull's camp means he is coming over?
