It doesn't matter. The finale is basically where the books are at. The last book ended with Jon Snow blacking out from the stab wounds. Both mediums are at the same exact cliffhanger.

 

Yup, there's no need for 2 separate threads anymore, if anything the show is further along than the books are.

My gf has been crying for 20 minutes now... she says she's done with the show.

 

There are a few things where the show isn't quite up to the books, but it's not much and not by a lot.

 

Lot to like lot to dislike.

melissandre has to feel like one of this doomsday prophecy people who sells all their stuff and then wakes up the day after the world was supposed to end

 

I wonder what stannis has to be thinking before he died realizing he literally killed house baratheon all because of some dumb religious nut

 

There's always Ramsay Bolton to root for.

 

So, are supposed to think that Theon and Sansa jumped to their deaths? I didn't see water or anything soft for them to land on, but I perhaps I missed something.

You got me. I think both were more than happy to jump to their deaths. I'm going to go out on a limb and say Theon dies but Sansa somehow lives and escapes with Brieanne but that is just a theory.

 

No way that's what we're supposed to think.

Would be awesome if next season started off with a shot of them splattered all over the ground though.
