it was an amazing shot. i dont hear anyone talking about it on tv, or even in here. maybe just becoz it didnt count? idk. curry makes a 60-footer and they show it all day. i know it's espn. but c'mon. sometimes i think the biggest reason why jvg has showed interest in the new orleans head coach job is that he cant take those espn suckers no more.
It doesn't deserve breaking news or top story like Curry would have gotten if he did it but did you notice the lack of reaction to Harden making the shot? These guys were like "Oh and it went in but won't count" If that was curry they would go "OH MY GOD and he MAKES IT!!"
It's not a popularity contest against Curry, it's a popularity contest against California. They are the only California team left to root for. You put Curry on the Timberwolves and he would get 0 love. You put Rubio on the GSW and he is a God. The media is a one sided lover. It can only jerk itself off. It will acknowledge you but really, you're just there to watch.
Are we just going to pretend like Aroza didn't do a good job holding onto the rock when Curry jumped all over him? Way to stay cool Ariza.
Stop it. Golden State has not been a staple of ESPN or the national media in general until this season. Many of you act like it's not deserved. GSW won 67 games this season. Only 1 of 10 to have ever won that many games. 8 of the first 9 won the title. That said, no one is talking about it because it didn't happen. It didn't count. If it did, it's the #1 play on SportsCenter today. But it didn't count. There's nothing more to talk about.

I went crazy, but I understand it wasn't a big deal because it didn't count. Just like the one handed, falling away, behind the head catch Hopkins did last year that didn't get any burn because it didn't count because of a penalty. Or maybe its because we are Houston?...
