I said this during the game and I'll say it again, I don't know how that cannot be considered a flagrant foul, other than it's Dwight Howard. Not a basketball play? Nope. Purposeful? Yup. Could potentially cause injury? Yes. Excessive? HELL YES! If Dwight got injured his back or knee on that play, I would be so pissed. Just dumb.
CP3 can go suck an egg and choke some more. If he doesn't change his ways then I hope he never wins anything of any significance.
someone needs to make a lord of the rings gif with gollum jumping on Dwight's back... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FXpF3SUFaDw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Gosh I dislike him SO DAMN MUCH. He is w/o a doubt an awesome player. The best point guard in the league imo(I say this as someone who was always a D-Will fan over a CP3 fan) but he has to be the whiniest dirty playing b*tch in the league. Yeah fans will say LBJ, DWade, LeBron, Duncan, Kobe, even Harden b*tch to the refs, but actually making it look like whining? That's CP3. Of course everyone would take him on their team but he is such a little $hit.
So true what you wrote. The only time I will EVER stick up for CP3 is when I hear idiots talking about how he has never been to a conference final. As if his play is the reason he has never been to a conference final. He is such a little $hit but one thing can't be denied, he comes to play. He brings it and he plays hard and is as competitive as it gets. Him not getting to a conference final this year is due more to the $hitty bench and moves made by his coach.
What was great was that on the next free throw attempts (by Harden, I believe), McHale put two other players in position to rebound and Howard in the backcourt to avoid that "unintentional" intentional foul.
The only guy who came to play and responsible for that amazing game 7 victory vs. Spurs so he has my respect as a competitor. That being said, I hate his play style, his whining, he's slow on the heliflopter and he thinks he's worth 2 billion gold. Would be up there with best PGs ever, but I'll take a few others over him any day because of his antics.
The broadcast was talking about it being a great play. A foul by Paul was a smart play, but to jump on a guy not once, but twice before the play even starts to happen is just ridiculous. You can't reward that type of foul. I enjoyed watching Paul suffer. I wanted to drink his tears.
That play was hilarious. I agree it should have been flagrant technically. But it'd look like the refs just piling on at that point. Instead, his punishment should be the immortality of that clip in internet memes forever. It was as ridiculous-looking as JVG hanging off of Alonzo Mourning's leg.

Remember during free agency when Cp3 used the Rockets as leverage to run Vinny del Negro out of a job and get a black coach.
