Jeremy Lin is not a Rox this year, so true Rox fans need to work a little bit harder to find scapegoat this time.

 

If we'd had a first round pick that we had to use to get rid of Lin's contract, we could have parlayed it into some better PG help.

And it's not just one person saying things like this over there. It's hundreds of them. Why anyone would want to see them return is beyond me. If Lin was an all-star calibur talent, then I can understand, but he's not.

Yes to Beverley.

No to Lin.

Beverley is a difference maker for your team.

Lin is a difference maker for the other team.

Mavs series showed how much Lin not being on the team helped the Rockets. With him, Lin would have lost 1-2 additional games in the first round series with his dumb game-costing mistakes and the Rockets would very likely be out of first round again.

Clippers series is showing how much Beverley not being on the team is hurting them. Without Beverley, this team has no fire.

Rockets need to find a steady perimeter play maker to pair up with Beverley so the two can split minutes.

 

If we can get Lin for less than five million, I'm not against it.

I rather have him than Johnson or Prigioni.

At least we know he's capable of scoring at least 30 points one night.

However there will be the usual span of 5 point games.

But he brings an added offensive force to our three dimensional offense.
