Paul or no Paul, the Rockets must win Game 1. The Clippers are gonna be exhausted after that 7-game slugfest, so capitalize on that.

I really think it will come down to who has a better series: Brewer or Crawford.

X factors. Smith is going to D up Griffin better than people expect.

Griffin is probably the strongest PF in the league at the moment...

harden did not shoot well against them this year at all. he had a breakout game scoring-wise in the final game when crawford was out.

wonder if doc plays spencer hawes this series. i remember him eating up dwight in philly last year.

    This X10

Paul and Blake will get theirs. The guys that kill us is Crawford and Reddick. Defenders have to stay with them, not go under the screen. Limit their shooters' production and we win this. Brewer might have to play 30+ minutes.

    Agreed. I like CP3 the player but he's such a dirty sneaky whining b!tch I don't give a damn if he's injured.

The Clips had to fight this one out and they are already tired while the Rockets had time to rest. They already had the worst bench of the playoff teams so time to pay for having such a useless and stupid GM as Doc.

BG is gonna manhandle Jones and Capela, hopefully only one of them plays at a time.

Must win Game 1 and Game 2. Must.

Would be nice to steal a game on the road and close it out at Game 5 or 6. I don't think I could take a Game 7, especially if the intensity is going to be like what we just saw in the Spurs/Clippers game.

Probably need to start Ariza on CP3 with Jet on Redick. Gotta make things difficult for Paul on the onset. Jet can follow Redick on screens.

Harden and Howard must be superstars. Howard has struggled against the Clipper last season, as had Harden recently. We need both to win their positions.

Crawford and Big Baby aren't bad options off the bench at all. What are you smoking? Crawford is a known Rocket killer...

Look at their bench compared to all the rest playoff teams and tell me theirs is not the worst. They had too few options and had to play their starters the most in the playoffs. They are already tired.
And Big Baby being a good option lol.
This will be over in 5.

    I'd say there's a 0% chance CP3 misses game 1.

a lot of scared folk on Clutchfans these days... people love to be negative I suppose.

I'm pumped and super confident we can beat the injured/exhausted and shallow Clips.

And there are extreme homers who said Rox in 5 or 6 and probably did watch any of the Spurs and Clippers games closely.

For that to happen, Clips must be at their worst every game. Think about that.
