Don't get me wrong, I want him to succeed. But what I saw from him at LSU he will probably be another body at practice squad during the season.
It really bothers me how the FO doesn't take enough late round chances on athleticism. Just wish they would go the Seahawks/Eagles route and take the SPARQ heroes and trust the coaching staff to mold them into good football players.
I hate when ESPN and the NFL trot Chris Carter out there to talk to these "troubled" players and act as if they were like him. Being a cocaine addict and smoking a little weed are not even remotely close to being the same thing

Not sure how I feel about this draft. We definitely seemed to get great value in RD 1-3 but I thought OL was a huge and obvious need. Clearly they went BPA but that first round was loaded with OL talent IMO. Don't think you can compete without decent OL, even with best D in league.
You dont think we have a decent OL right now? It would be nice to get some depth there, but I dont see that as a pressing need at all. We needed ILB, OLB, CB, and WR. We got all those. Everything else is just added depth.
Don´t want to sound like a youtube scout expert but how can guys with below average athleticism and production in college be drafted, and you see guys like Shane Wynn small dudes with all speed and ability to make others miss tackles not get drafted, I don´t understand.
