Just so there is no confusion in the Kris Bryant thread.

Source: Carlos Rodon joining #WhiteSox tomorrow. Hey, how's that Carlos Correa kid doing? And wrong forum. This should go in the Other Sports forum. Carlos Rodon is not and has never been a player in the Astros organization.
What does Carlos Correa have to do with Rodon? Cool, if Castor wants to move it, move it. Or continue to be a little b****. That's cool too! Oh no, wrong forum guyzz! 3 losing seasons and Luhnow has Carlos Correa! Sorry, don't want to forget about Mark either.
Jeeeez, don't take it personally when someone doesn't agree with every single move Luhnow makes guys. I mean if everyone of us agreed with every move he makes, we wouldn't need a board to talk about it It's nice to have good discussion about these things but for those that just defend anything Luhnow does, or for those who just hate every move, you really bring nothing to the discussion
What discussion is there to have? Appel v Bryant is an understandable discussion, if you want to critzicize them for that OK. But It was impossible for the Astros to know Aiken's UCL situation. Everybody was raving about the pick when it was made. Now it turns out the Astros might have been completely justified in not signing Aiken. Reporting everything Rodon does is just b****ing for the sake of b****ing. JR's actual opinion posts usually leave a lot to be desired.
the way I see things..... instead of Rodon we got McHugh and Keuchel. landed Correa and will have two top 5 picks this year. Astros are in great shape long term and as soon as they go all out in FA they will be contenders.
That makes literally no sense. Both McHugh and Keuchel were on the roster when we passed on Rodon for Aiken. It was a terrible decision then and it was based on his wear and tear from playing at the USA level and in college for multiple seasons. We drafted a guy who needed Tommy John, a guy we drafted for health reasons. Luhnow has been a failure with that first pick. 2/3 iffy picks in three seasons, when you have the best pick, is not acceptable.
Awww, I'm so sorry!! Put me on ignore! Can't criticize the best front office! They do nothing wrong! All the right decisions! In Luhnowball We Trust! What is there to discuss? As Beard said, He was the obvious choice all along. Of course until he "wasn't." Instead took bad arm Brady who they didn't sign (and screwed another guy in the process). Maybe they'll get it right, get their guys at 2 & 5. Or maybe they get their Brian Bogusevic, Jio Mier, Max Sapp, Mike Kvasnicka, & Delino DeShields of the world! Stop Trey. Do not criticize Luhnowball! In Luhnowball we trust!
