I think we'll be hard pressed to see anything like 13 in 35 again... For a long time at least, if ever. So much had to gel together for it to work. With intentional fouling to get a guy on the line... Maybe, but even then still unlikely as you wouldn't run the offense quite that fast. I wouldn't be shocked if we never see 13 points by one player in under 36 seconds again. But it is the NBA. Where amazing happens.
i watched that in a bar with another friend that was a rockets fan (a bunch of other people were there with us that had no interest and were doing other stuff) on a small tv over the bar on mute. im pretty sure we were jumping up and down, high fiving each other
I was at that game. Down by 8 with 40 something seconds left, the Rockets did intentionally foul the Spurs on every possession. That's the only way to get the ball back. What was amazing is the Spurs made all six of their free throws and we still game back. I'm with you ... everything had to fall into place. The 4 pointer and Brown slipping at the end for a turnover, rather than us having to foul.
Boy he sure would look good in Rockets red. But on the other hand I'm sure his shooting percentages would go down if he were a Rocket. For some odd reason, once you put on Rocket red, you become less accurate as a shooter.

Here's the whole span of time, including the Bucks bricking a lot of terrible quick shots, LOL. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/WZwbp2nNFhY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
based on the OP title, TMac was actually 13 in 33. 35 was the remaining time when TMac hit his 1st three. There was 1.7 seconds left when he scored the 13th point. Note the title of the thread says 11 in 65. Korver did this in a random 65 seconds in the 3rd quarter. If you measure Korver by time between first shot and last shot, then measure TMac that way, too. Thus...33 seconds, not the amount of time remaining on the clock when he hit his first.
Wow he's not even going straight up, look at his body (legs) when he shoots the third one! Very impressive, but this should've been a comeback at the end of the game for it to be even in the conversation of the Miller knicks, T-mac spurs and Rodney Rogers jazz game.
This one would have been just as epic if they could have pulled out a victory. Down 18, scores 30 pts in 4 minutes.
Yes that was one of my favorite/most memorable moments as a rockets fan. I too was with a bunch of people watching the game on TNT
It's in the middle of a game. It's nothing like 12 pts behind with 35 seconds left by getting 13 pts to win it over the Spurs. Only similar comparison is Reggie Miller's 8pt in 9 seconds to win the game in playoff
