IIRC, Smith did not play SF often in Detroit this season. He did so last season.

It took me a second to understand what was going on. I'm used to seeing shot charts where RED is good and BLUE is bad. But yes, Smoove has been shooting much better as a Rocket. I think even game by game his shooting is improving. The mental aspect of the game is really big for him. I think him being comfortable here has helped him tremendously.

Josh smith is staying a rocket. I'm not worried about he leaving at all.

With that 26mil he got from Detroit I can see him taking a very small contract to what he could get so we can pay for a max player like Durant?

I think he knows he can win rings with harden, and right now cares more about redeeming his name with rings over leaving for money

Josh Smith does not play hard.

hes a talented guy, but he is responsible for two awful turnovers and two wasted iso possessions a game.

Terrence Jones needs to take all his minutes.

This team needs to also attack the paint when they have a lead.
Those long rebounds from three start fast breaks for the other team and evaporate our leads.

Horrible overreaction to a bad stretch of games.

You take the good and the bad with Josh Smith, but overall he's been a great get for us.

I like Josh Smith, but I get the feeling that he's not putting his best effort forth. I appreciate everything he's done for the team, but with Jones and DMo, I just don't know if he's worth whatever money is necessary to retain him.

You have to take the good with the bad with Smith.

He's a really good player, who's prone to bad games and stupid decisions. He's a terrible player to give big money to, but it makes him ideal as a possible difference maker of the bench.

    horrible overreaction?

    appropriate you mean?

he plays wreckless and doesnt take care of the ball. Its been happening since day 1!

Of course he's been reckless since Day 1. He also has had a turnover problem since Day 1.

He also has played mostly awesome defense, been one of our more effective playmakers, and shot a perfectly respectable percentage from 3 from Day 1 as well.

As I said...you take the good and the bad.

yeah i think he will come around and get his focus right...

he's been slipping, but he's contributed big time this year.

I just feel that having Jones on the floor will lead to more efficient possesions, less turnovers and better team ball movement.

I just feel like having more guys play leads to more depth, fresher players, and less foul trouble.

Exactly some people are trying too hard.

Smith has been great in Houston though, I thought he might gum up the chemistry, and was happily wrong.
