So with a $3MM cap hit for Moore, we have another $4MM or so to work with without having to restructure or cut anybody. That's room for Wilfork, Red Bryant, or a WR... whichever way they want to go with it.

It's amazing really. They've made consistently poor decisions since 1998 (with some good ones tossed in of course like Freeney, etc.) but they've covered it all up because of two #1 overall picks in the right years.
I don't think the Colts have had a good draft...... man, it's been a while. Well, they had a great draft in 2012. But before/after? It's pretty bleak. They've drafted 3 Pro Bowlers since 2007 - Luck, Hilton (same '12 draft) and McAfee (who's a punter). BTW, I think you could say the same thing about the Patriots; Brady and Belicheck cover up a lot of missed opportunities.
Jim Irsay's tweets after getting Richardson heh: Jim Irsay @JimIrsay 18 Sep 2013 OMG...the Earth is SHAKING!!!!! Shock and AWE is coming VERY SOON!!!!!!! Jim Irsay @JimIrsay 18 Sep 2013 Colts Nation...are you sitting DOWN!!!!!!
Remember how we debated whether to get Hopkins or Patterson in the draft? Well: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>The Vikings are trying to move Cordarrelle Patterson, but there's A REASON (he can't learn the offense).</p>— Omar Kelly (@OmarKelly) <a href="https://twitter.com/OmarKelly/status/576140574610231296">March 12, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Eh they've had some pretty good first round picks....freeney, reggie wayne, & dallas clark went in consecutive drafts, so it couldn't all be bad haha
Just saw that too. That would be one huge hit on a guy if he can't learn the offense. Sometimes you rather have the smart guy than the better athlete.
So as a completely unfair summary of FA thus far, the Texans have signed 2 of Brady's backup QB's, Bill Buckner, and re-signed 2 of their own and the Colts have brought in 3 players that are all over the hill and hoping to have one more decent season before retirement. Solid.
Well... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Rumor - Texans inquiring about Patterson in a trade. Vikes not actively shopping him, but gauging value</p>— PeteBercich (@PeteBercich) <a href="https://twitter.com/PeteBercich/status/576145941910032384">March 12, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
if patterson can't learn that system, how's he gonna fit here? BOB getting a bit eager now if true... source credible?
