As McHale says "He needs to drop that ass" dmo ' s issue isn't strength, it's balance.

Nice bounce back game for D-mo, because he was god awful in these last 2.

I think playing center is wearing him down. He has really done an excellent job filling in for Dwight, but he simply doesn't have the physical tools to hang with NBA centers for 30 minutes a game. Nor is he well suited to be anchored in the paint defensively, his rotations are his biggest strength on D.

D-Mo & TJ have been beasts.

Not like Bosh is walking through that door anytime soon...

BTW - out of all the 3pt shooters on the team DMo has the 3rd highest percentage average behind Harden and Terry.

    Not the weight room...

He needs to get his fundamentals down on the defensive end and rebounding.

Other than the extremely stupid passes out of the post, DMo had a good game. He really needs to be more selfish when he is position to score. I can honestly say that I have absolutely no idea why he was even attempting to pass the ball in the first damn place on several of those turnovers when he was one on one with his defender and close enough to the basket to score. He played solid defense tonight too. Like I said before, he'll probably never be a good rebounder due to his physical limitations and he won't be the first weak rebounding 7 footer, but he can still be very good if he works at perfecting his strengths. A guy his size that can score in the post and step out and knock down 3 pointers at a respectable clip while not being a spaz on defense is extremely rare. Of course I wouldn't mind him being a good rebounder and shot blocker as well, but all of these things would make him like a prime Arvydas Sabonis lol.

What Physical Limitations? I keep hearing this and i'm like wtf???

He's defending and rebounding is due to him not understanding how to get in position and being straight up.... Look at the how he boxes out on the defensive end.. He's not turning his back on his man, dropping his butt and getting position... He's turning his back to the basket, standing straight up and has no leverage and doesn't know where the ball is going....

That's just bad fundamentals.... He's doesn't have any limitations, it's not like he's missing a freaking arm or leg... The man is 7 ft tall and last I checked he was a lot bigger than a lot of the guys on the court.

He has T-rex arms, and he can't jump. It's not that complicated.

Prime Arvydas Sabonis who played in europe was a basketball savant. All these things wouldn't make him like Arvydas.

In the words of Wink Xcuse factor....

Kevin Willis had freaking alligator arms and he had no problems rebounding...

Zack Randolph or Kurt Rambis can't jump for crap and they can rebound...

Man Excuses are like an ******* and they all stink....

The fact is you guys give Howard no excuses for bad fundamentals on offense(which you shouldn't)... But the same goes for DMo and his bad fundamentals on defense....

So I call BS!!!!! Stop making excuses for the man... He needs to man up and work on his defensive weakness... The same as Howard needs to do with his offense.
