Bingo. Would like to see Dwight, DMo, Smith and Jones get 24 minutes each, no time for McGee. Need to save the $1 million in flexibility for next year by not cutting Dorsey.

Is McGee really that stupid he doesn't know Boston isn't a contender anymore?

I am fine if he ends up with a Eastern conference team like Boston. I thought he may choose Golden State.

C's are a contender, for the 8th seed. They are also weak in the position JVMc plays and could provide him an opportunity for p/t beyond any title pretenders and/or contenders.

That's so weird to pick them. Heard contenders wanted him and that's who he chooses?! How much spare they paying him?

Well. Going to the Celtics is fine with me. Thought he wanted to go to a contender. Guess there really is an empty space between his ears.

Let's just carry on and get a rotation set for playoffs. We are making a run with or without Dwight!

It wasn't likely that he was going to sign with Houston, so this is about as good an outcome that we could hope for.

Makes sense. Young team, young coach. He could start on Boston. Boston still has a shot at the 8th seed. Better Boston than Dallas, Golden State or San Antonio.

Sitting here laughing wishing it was 1982 again and Javale was joining Bird, Parish, McHale, Cornbread, Carr, and company and they were playing in those short shorts.

Maybe McGee thinks his arrival will make them contenders.

The boys brains are like a marble rolling around in a boxcar.

McGee clearly indicated that he was choosing a team based on his own long-term development.

Ok, fine happy or McGee but is there a C out there that the Rockets can add? If not bring in Capela and have him play Dorsey's minutes.

Kind of weird that a 7 year vet is looking for opportunities for development.

I was hoping he'd go to the mavs and mess with their chemistry.

Better the Celtics than the Mavs or GSW. I'll take it.

Very disappointing, Houston's style of play would have suited him to a T. McGee may be too much of a bird brain afterall.
