How funny would it be if KD comes back and everyone blames him for when WB's numbers drop. Total role reversal.
Watching this Portland/OKC game. Westbrook is tremendously talented, but he still try's to do way too much. He looks like I do in nba 2k my career, completely disrupting the teams offense, taking lots of dumb and selfish shots.
WB is no doubt a ridiculously good individual performer, IMHO he's better than Kobe. However I still have doubts about a team with him leading the way, IMHO he has been babied alot by OKC's unbalanced roster and KD's unique HOF skillset so he wasnt able to learn to balance his individual performance with a team. If he just played sg he wouldnt have to bother with this, but as a pg he needs to prioritize the team offense first before himself. This game he played an amazing performance despite playing a ton of mins the previous night, but the team as a whole lost.
His team was up by 11, he decided not to pass the ball after he got his triple double, went into hero mode , and lost again...
I don't think james harden would have ever been as good as he is now. He might have only put up Manu stats which is still really good. Blame their cheap ass owner.
Anybody. Basketball is a team sport. Augustin, McGary, Morrow, Ibaka, Singler etc. If you look at the Rockets roster, we could easily say the same with Harden, who else is going to anything on our team? But as we've been seeing, there's plenty of players who can step up, it's just on the superstars to set them up and get their teammates involved instead of trying to do it all by their selves.
