Boogie vs ZBO, a lesson in restraint or scared s**tless?

  1. Boogie knew ZBO was trying to get in his head, wasn't scared.

Nobody is scared of anybody else on the court. Nobody is going to get their ass kicked.

I might be in the minority here and I agree with " what " boogie didn't want no part of zbo. Zbo won't back off.

Randolf in an epic meltdown mode.

Cousins just decided to be the bigger man. Well done.

If the Kings were losing Cousins probably would have done something to get himself thrown out lol, he probably showed restraint because he wanted to get a win.

Lol i'd take Cousins in a fight over Randolph. Cousins has height, weight and athleticism on Randolph, plus he is nearly 10 years younger as well. Randolph just has a mean face.

I'd agree with you if this hadn't happened.

Boogie is as real as it gets in the NBA, and yes, he would murder ZBo in a fight.

Cousins was saying something to him after the elbow so I wouldn't say he was punked

Nobody does anything anymore. Derrick Coleman would beat both their asses at the same time.

If you think Cousins was being a sissy, you're a Charles Barkley. You play to win the game. In the history of the NBA, no one has ever won a fair fight, if you want to prove your manhood you do it in the ring. Toe to toe.

People might get a knock sometimes. But, when was the last time a player sustained real put-you-in-the-hospital-severity injuries from an NBA court fight? Rudy T? When was the last time someone got a real punch in instead of some slap or push or a sneaky little elbow? Chris Childs on Kobe Bryant in 2000? Even at the Malice at the Palace, the on-court fight consisted of only a push to the face, with all the punches being exchanged between players and fans. The only other time of any real danger I can think of in a modern NBA game -- which was quite a while ago now -- was Shaq's missed punch at Brad Miller; it would have terrible had he connected, but he didn't. And unlike whatever Randolph was barking about, Shaq was really clobbered on that play. All that to say, there really isn't any reason to fear that a player nowadays will actually throw a punch when he starts barking. They're too cowed by the system. The only thing they can manage are furtive little jabs when they think the refs are looking a different way, and then some pushing and trash talk when they want to get a T.

Clutchfans also invented the nicknames "Air" Jordan, Wilt "Big Dipper" Chamberlain, and "The Good Shepherd" Jesus. We really DO need a hobby.

To the actual thread poll, Randolph was getting hot for no reason. There's a time and place to engage, that was not the time, and it was a good call by Boogie. Zach picked up a dumb tech, a dumb foul, and Cousins rightly got nothing.

Since you have over 1500 posts on clutchfans - are you saying you need a hobby?

And EVERYONE knows that it is Clutch that hands out all nicknames to all players throughout human history - it's not voted on in the forum.

Hypothetically, if i ever accidentally pissed Boogie off & he had nothing to lose (basketball etc etc) I would not want to mess with him, let me just leave at that...
