i hope we can land jonathan joseph or asomugha. telling you, you kids didn't like the watt pick but he can grow with wade! wade is a rock star.
Denver is literally the 2013-2014 Houston Texans HC - Kubiak OC - Dennison DC - Wade along with other position coaches Kollar, Knapp, Herring...
And mostly all those guys were with the Broncos before the Texans (in Wade's case, it was a while before).
I think there will have to be a little adjustment for both parties. Agreed that it's not a perfect fit, but since Kubiak has made QB's with average skills look like All-Pro's I'm intrigued to see what he can do with one of the best QB's ever.
A little surprised it's only a 2 year deal for Wade.

Broncos just put together a good ol' boy network of coaches. Agreed. Yup... I would just point out that the real 2012 Texans were soundly out coached down the stretch.
hard to say if they were just outcoached but going 3-4 down the stretch was brutal especially since it cost them home field. Pats had their number both in that stretch and the playoffs. The vikes was definitely a bad game and Colts always own them in Indy. The team certainly didn't know how to win when they are the favorite.
The word is he'll be back. I'm sure ESPN will try and spin something out nothing though and manufacture a 50/50 chance type story.
Many suspected that Schaub was concealing an arm injury, possibly suffered during that two game stretch that preceded the mediocre finish (Titans-Lions, 2 games in 5 days, lots of passes those games). As far as being "out-coached", the main issue everybody has with Kubiak's system is that it requires continuous execution in what they do to work... if what they do doesn't work at all, they have shown to have very little counter-ability. They seem to have sound game plans going into games (at least offensively), evidenced by good first drives... and that usually indicates decent practice implementation processes' and game-film breakdowns to exploit an opposing team's weak spots. Obviously, his running games are still his biggest strength (and in a passing league, where not a lot of teams run it well, this can be a big advantage)... and it can be tough to comeback on his teams once they have a lead, presuming they continue to execute in the run game. The problems still lie in the adjustment-factor.
No, the Texans were badly outcoached in the playoffs against New England. There were even a few articles where scouts were saying that the Texans were baffled by any variation in the formation ran by the Patriots, especially in goal line formations. I thought perhaps it was the assistants and not Kubiak, but then he has choosen to take many of his former coaches with him.
Wade's defensive philosophy/scheme on defense is almost exactly what Kubiak's philosophy is on offense. They do what they do... it usually works really well... but if it doesn't happen to be working, or the other team does something "unexpected", there's very little else they'll be able to do.
