I agree it I still want them to win tomorrow and I still will enjoy watching the game since it'll be the last one till August
Not so sure about this. This has all the makings of a trap game. Ultimately the team with least turnovers and most points is going to win.
If the Jaguars fail to score a TD on their opening drive, the Texans will be the only team this year to not allow a TD on the opponent's first possession. JJ Watt needs 2.5 sacks to reach 20 for the year. If he gets it he will become the first player in NFL history to record two seasons of 20+ sacks. It's crazy how fast the NFL season goes by. Go Texans!
I agree that the chances are slim, but the Chiefs are actually still favored by about a point. I think that one is 50/50, but we're going to need a big upset by the Browns. But it's happened before, it seems that every year one team playing for seemingly nothing has a big morale win at the end of the year, knocking a playoff hopeful team out. IIRC, the Texans did that to the Bears in like 2008.
Inside Slant: Referee trends emerging This should bode well for JJ Watt. If Parry's crew doesn't tolerate offensive holding Bortles is in for a longer day than usual.
Yes, but the Browns seem to have absolutely no interest in winning today. One thing that can help - Shaw had a better 40 time than Manziel at the combine.
Just lost all respect for Warren Sapp as a football analyst. He just said teams don't game plan for JJ Watt and that he never faces double teams. Obviously this is someone who has not watched a single Texans game.
Wow, did anyone else just hear Warren Sapp's asinine comments on JJ Watt just now? I understand someone not thinking that he's the MVP. But claiming that offenses don't gameplan specifically for him and that he doesn't crush that gameplan. And claiming that he sees SINGLE BLOCKS. all game??? You gotta be effing kidding me! I'm not one to constantly complain about media bias. But I've never seen such blatant misinformation and hate. Wow.
Hate and jealousy are not always the same thing. Watt should use it for bulletin board material, but he also should be proud to have someone such as Warren Sapp be clearly jealous of him.
It would be such a Texans thing to happen if Cheifs and Browns somehow win, but we lose to the Jags. LOL can't even think about that. Texans got this!!!!
single blockers??? JJ watt is playing with Pickett who was sitting at home on his couch 2 months ago and freaking Jared Crick.
So did anyone call him out? Or the other dumb****s just agreed? Why does anybody even care what these NFL "experts" say?
These analysts can get away with saying the stupidest stuff. It's sad how ignorant they are. Their title should be "TV personality" instead of "analyst."
Think bigger, he gets 7.5 sacks and breaks the season sack record and single game sack record at the same time!
