I like Ben over Smith. He has you there. Your RBs are a mile better than his though, but his WR/FLEX is looking great. Luckily it doesn't look like a PPR league based on their averages.
I've run into quite the dilemma, I can't figure out which defense to go with. I've got either Detroit @ Chicago (Jimmy Clausen, but a divisional game), Seattle @ Arizona (Ryan Lindley, but a divisional game against an awesome defense), or Buffalo @ Oakland (David Carr, who's been relatively up and down all season). I was leaning Buffalo since on the season, they've only done bad twice, against Peyton and against Tom Brady, and they just torched Aaron Rodgers of all people. Who do ya think I should go with?
i'd go with buffalo, but all those defenses should have a good week when in doubt. go with fantasypros http://www.fantasypros.com/2014/12/defense-wins-championships-week-16/
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too, but once they decided to bench Cutler, I thought about it....lol
I have an account with Fantasypros.com, but on defenses, they've led me astray before. With the defenses I'm looking at playing, I don't think there's actually a wrong answer here.
Made it to the championship! Three questions: For my WR3: Edelman (@ NYJ), Tate (@ CHI), or Matthews (@ WAS)? Wary about Edelman's injury. RB: I have DeMarco Murray and Jamaal Charles. In the event that Murray cannot go, should I start Joique Bell (@ CHI) or Mark Ingram (vs. ATL)? K: Normally I stick with Justin Tucker, but picked up Connor Barth for this week. He's been solid. Should I start Barth over Tucker?
Didn't get a lot of replies so asking again Peyton Manning or Matt Ryan? Pick 2 FLEX Sammy Watkins Mike Wallace Vincent Jackson Martavus Bryant
Championship week--I'll give rep to anyone who gives me advice. I need all the opinions I can get. QB2: Tannehill or RG3? This league has an odd setting where we get .1 points per completion and -1 points per sack. Leaning towards Tannehill RB2:Latavius Murray, Andre Williams, or Gerhart? K:Bailey, Barth, or Hauschka? DST: Patriots or Bills?
At QB I picked up Case Keenum for giggles and listed him as my starter. So I'll change to Tannehill Sunday morning. I'm leaning towards Latavius right now. In week 6 Jacksonville could not run on Tennessee with Storm Johnson leading the way, so why would Gerhart put up his first good game of the season now? These are running backs on bad teams and there is a lot of risk involved with all of them. Rashad Jennings was supposed to be that RB2 for me but that didn't work out. The kicker situation is interesting. I'm actually leaning towards Bailey. With Demarco Murray out or hurting, maybe they fail to get into the endzone? I'm not sure where to go. I initially thought I was going with the Patriots defense, but I talked myself into going with the Bills.
True tossup at QB. Is Indianapolis defense that good? They have demolished Houston/Hoyer the last two weeks. But they did give up 6 TDs to Roethlisberger. I'd go with Roethlisberger just because his scoring average is higher. That is the tiebreaker for me. Plus his recent performances haven't been that bad. He was just unlucky last week getting 0 TDs. I'd go with Edelman over Gordon just because Gordon is too dang risky. Gordon is the higher upside play for sure. Not that Edelman doesn't have risk, but it is nothing like Gordon has with a QB on his second start.
I could very well be overthinking this since it's championship week, but should I start LeSean McCoy (19 for 22yds last time) or Jordan Matthews (8/59/2TDS last time)? They're both playing Washington.
