Huh? Only Dwight can't shoot the three.. If Rondo can get assists, without being a shooting threat, and passing to non-all star players, then why would that change in a line up with two all stars?
Yeah.....which is why I'm completely against trading for Rondo. The point was about a stretch 4, not a terrible shooting PG. Almost everyone knows that would be tragic for the Rockets.
I wouldn't judge entirely based on %, but on willingness to take and make at key moment. Both Rondo are Howard are guys you dare to shoot it, but for DMo it's just preferred over post up. Dmo can hit it and has potential to go 4-5 or 3-5 on any given night and change game outcome. He's not a guy opposing coaches would be ok with left wide open.
I'm not sure why you responded to my post then. I simply said Rondo need shooters to be effective, and we don't have them. It seems you agree with me.
I am very underwhelmed by the Brewer trade. I know it makes the most sense given current situations, but I am not sure he brings much to the table for us.
He gives quality minute at the backup 2/3. Ariza and Terry are playing way too many minutes. When you take Ariza out, you can have a reliable player at the 3 so you won't be forced to play Harden at SF also.
