Great video. I'd call those last two almost dead even. Dr. J. was groundbreaking and that shot is iconic. And the MJ layup was one of the nastiest things I've ever seen. He basically shakes the entire team on that drive.

    Again, very well done.

Dr. J is eassssssily number 1, and I can't believe we don't have any Steve Francis in here. He had 2-3 crazy ass layups every single game...

Connie Hawkins did a flying-swooping-baseline-to-the-reverse-windmilling-underhanded-fallaway-finger-roll that was, and still is, unique. Just went gliding back up the court on D like it was nothing. It's been about a half a century, and it's still the most amazing move I've ever seen on a basketball court. Those hands made it possible:http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lfjofrdJf41qz82veo1_500.jpg

Thanks everyone for watching, happy to see you liked it.

Does the footage exist? I could barely find anything about Connie Hawkins, but the guy was Dr J before Dr J himself.

Count me as one of the people who think Dr. J's iconic layup is the best of all time.

I personally don't like the inclusion of many of these circus shots. I find acrobatic, skilled layups to be more impressive that tossing up off-balance prayers. Also, I think that 360 layup by Vince Carter at #17 should be higher. That's the only one that actually made go "Wow!" while watching this mix.

Considering Brooks is really all of 5'9 and the lob was absolutely perfect I am in agreement something like this rather than some of the off-balance-throw-in-cuz-i-heard-the-whistle is actually a much better feat (combined). Artest's perfect overhand lob + Brooks' body control/athleticism makes it pretty unique.

I was off the couch for that one. I was already an AB fan but that one cemented it.

Great video. The top 4 were the ones I envisioned. MJ's layups were the best.. no player can match his gracefulness.
