I think his character has progressed for the better. In the previous season when he takes over Saul's position as director he seemed to be motivated by pure political aspirations but this episode does show that he has empathy for those he is deemed responsible for. He did show some self sacrifice in this episode.
don't think Quin will go Jack Bauer on that guy and torture him for intel it looked like he got what he needed from the phones
That's true he's become more "human" but he was naive in thinking the girl would live just because he gave up the list I disagree Those tools were shown for a reason, dude is definetely losing at least a finger. I think the phones were just a clue to something else. In the future he might spot that type phone on someone of importance.
While Quinn deciding to become James Bond/Jack Bauer all in one is going to make for some exciting TV... isn't it sorta dumb that the only person that will be left to "save" him is Carrie, who basically has proven again and again that she cannot even take care of herself, and helps get others killed? Not sure I'm buying that... but I've loved this season.
It's pretty good but a few things I'm not buying: 1.) That they would leave Carrie behind for five days of all people. 2.) That dufus would open that secured door in that scenario. The whole cell phone thing seems rather simplistic. Quinn is comparing cell phones to see if they are the same make/model so he knows who is with who? So, it appears they are going to track down the terrorists based on which cell phone store in Pakistan sells many of these same phones in one sale? lol
Well it's an article of faith among the writers' crowd that torture doesn't work (a silly notion, of course it does). They may have Quinn torture the guy, but he won't get any useful information ala Jack Bauer.
I've avoided this show like the plague after that 3rd season... But this 4th season is getting serious buzz from all y'all. I might just have to jump back on board this weekend and binge it.
Rest in Peace... Spoiler Show's been great this season, rest of season may be a over the top but if it's done well I'm fine with it. At least they've moved past that Quinn might be in love with Carrie subplot from the start of the season.
Well, now it's just the 2 of them left behind in Pakistan. I wouldn't be surprised to see that come back.
Decent episode but very predictable. Knew fara was going to die, knew they were going to open the vault. Knew they would get to the file. Knew carrie was going to stay back, but didn't expect Quinn to go after them. I don't like how carries character does not get at all phased by all that happens to her like being in the battlefield, nearly getting blown up. Saul seems more convincing...yet he tells her to be careful and go after them
I wish they would be more technically sound. How does Carrie pull a gun out and point it Haqqani five feet away without getting pumped with a hundred friggin' bullets? Come on. He was surrounded by security.
