I strolled into the Copperfield Best Buy around 1:30 in the afternoon, picked up the PS4 bundle with GTA5/ Last Of Us and was out in 10 minutes.
Are there any good wireless headsets for under $100? Looking to get some for a runner who mostly just listens to music on Pandora from the android phone...
Bought a 55 inch Samsung curved LED on Wednesday. Definitely was an impulse purchase because I did absolutely zero research. Buts it's cool I guess, plus with 36 months no interest... It's just set it and forget it. The auto bill pay that is.
There's almost zero chance that he needed a TV. Does his livelihood depend upon a TV? Is he tired of his 40 inch 2008 TV? Did a friend, family member or neighbor recently upgrade? Would his living room be the ideal environment for watching TV from one angle? Did the TV come with a gift card to purchase other on-sale products? Did he see a mesmerizing add on his former TV?
Did you guys like the curved TV? I heard you can't tell that much of a difference and with no 4k out there right now it's not really worth it. Thoughts?
You can't just come to my hood like that. Copperfield is mine. That's my BestBuy, my PetsMart, my Barnes & Noble, my TGF haircutters, my Fajita Willie's. Step in here again and you might get messed up.
Mine isn't curved but it's the 8550 model with 4k. Saved an extra $300 opting for this. Same specs as the curve except you don't feel as immersed in the picture, whatever that means. They both look great regardless. I think Netflix offers some of their stuff in 4k, can anyone confirm? Supposedly the cable and satellite carriers are trying to push 4k channels within the next few months but who knows if that's true. Probably just bs the sales associate was trying to hook me with.
I bought one, too. The curve is pretty much pointless until you get into TV's that start wrapping around you (lol). Then there's the cost difference between the 8550 and the curved version, the 8700, and it just wasn't worth it to me. The one benefit the curve may have is it may cut down on some reflections if you've got problems with that. But then again, even 4K probably provides little benefit for how people are seated in a room. To see much difference between a 4k pic and 1080p pic on a 55"-65" screen, you'd have to probably sit about 3-6 feet away from it. If you sit around 10 feet away, most people aren't going to be able to tell much difference. Of couse, the newer 4k sets probably have better panels, contrast, color, etc., so they've got that going for them.

My 55in was 1800 (original 2500)last Saturday but went down to 1500 this week so I was able to get the price adjusted. Pretty much saved on what I spent on the 5 year warranty.
Best Buy has had the 55" 8550 Samsung $1499 weeks before Black Friday, so I just finally bought it a few days ago when I saw it still at that pricet. I don't want anything bigger than that in my living room, to be honest. Now I'm just waiting to upgrade my receiver. During my research, I saw that the 55" version of the 7200 was getting bad reviews on black level and some funky cloud effect to pics from some people. For anyone interested in any 3D viewing, I also believe the 7200 doesn't offer that. Also, the Clear Motion rate is lower than the newer sets on that one. I could've sworn the 7200's were discontinued, but I could be mistaken.
Not a deal but Best Buy had a $100 gift card for any working iphone that ended today. Got $100 for a iPhone 3G that was just sitting in my drawer.
