Not if he plays like he did today. What do we gain from sending him out there knowing he'll fail due to injury?

More than a loss...I truly feared Mallet getting hurt today...Not only does it ruin his chance at getting more game film to be able to assess his chances as a starter in this league, Mallet has open the door for Tom Savage, and ofcourse Ryan Fitzpatrick to come back and play.

Gosh it sucks we have to go back to Fitz...but I personally still dont believe Savage is there yet. Talk about bad fortune for Mallet...

Hes got a week, hopefully Foster will be back and we wont ask him to do too much. Although I wouldnt mind seeing what Savage has got.

Yup, just a sore tit. Id rather see him throw off handed than see Fitz back in there.

Wow....guess that explains his lack of precision today.

Night and day compared to the Browns game.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that Mallett has a pectoral injury that possibly will knock him out of action for several weeks. < Whewww good news guys, Mallett is gonna be ok.

Meh, Mallett today was worse than Fitz has been at any point this season. I suppose I can understand preferring seeing Mallett simply from a scouting standpoint, but if he's hurt and sucking it up (if the injury excuse is legit and it wasn't just him showing off his poor accuracy) what good does it do? Wouldn't you rather see better football? Hell give Savage a shot if Mallett can't go, why not?

Yep - not only would it hurt every time he tried to throw, it woulda effected his accuracy fer sure.
Will Texans ever get a break at QB?

Just go with Fitz. We are facing the Titans at home. Fitz can win that game.

So supposedly his season is over... Tough break for him but it should make it easy for us to resign him if thats what they want to do.

I wouldnt mind seeing Savage but Im not sure it happens. I feel like B.O.B will say Fitz gives them the best chance to win.
