I don't know what the hell Chandler was thinking. You'd think he wasn't familiar with Hardens game...he wasn't even close to being set, easy call.

I wonder at what point would the refs call a tech on the bench for being on the court. Terry was below the the point line with time still left. I know it's not that uncommon, but has that ever been called?

I was glad to see Jim Foley there enjoying the game. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed growing up listening to Gene Peterson and Foley on the radio before I could watch all the games on TV. I wished they had been here during the CSN fiasco so I could have listened to them. The new crew can't hold a candle to them. "HOW SWEET IT IS!!!!!!" or actually I guess it would be "How sweet it WAS";) listening to those guys when I was younger. I have not heard any radio crew due as good a job as those two making you feel like you were there. Oh and awesome play by Harden too and the fact that it was Parsons makes it that much sweeter!!!!

Gene and Jim were absolutely the best. I used to watch games with the TV sound off and the radio on

    How sweet it was, indeed

Agreed!!!! I absolutely hated it when KTRH stopped carrying the Rockets games. I live in the Beaumont area and KTRH comes in loud and clear. Whatever station they moved to did not reach our area.

Harden called Parsons a role player... And then he treated him like one.

I was watching the Mavs feed and one of their announcers was claiming Harden should have been called for a charge. That was not even a charge.

I just saw them talking on NBATV and one of their guys said it was a charge as well because the contact was in the chest area straight on. But, you are right, he wasn't set and he was clearly moving (it looked like a flop). I'm not sure what the exact rule is here applying to the situation. If your moving, then it's blocking right regardless?

Not to mention he was standing straight up with his legs too close together to try to slide laterally. He looked like he was going to trip over his own feet as he begin to slide to his right.

Doesn't know how to defend but we all new that.

    The NBA rulebook:

"A player shall not hold, push, charge into, impede the progress of an opponent by extending a hand, forearm, leg or knee or by bending the body into a position that is not normal. Contact that results in the re-routing of an opponent is a foul which must be called immediately."

"Contact initiated by the defensive player guarding a player with the ball is not legal. This contact includes, but is not limited to, forearm, hands, or body check."

"In all guarding situations, a player is entitled to any spot on the court he desires, provided he legally gets to that spot first and without contact with an opponent. If a defensive or offensive player has established a position on the floor and his opponent initiates contact that results in the dislodging of the opponent, a foul should be called IMMEDIATELY."

"A player may continue to move after gaining a guarding position in the path of an opponent provided he is not moving directly or obliquely toward his opponent when contact occurs."

"A defensive player is not permitted to move into the path of an offensive player once he has started his shooting motion."

"The speed of the offensive player will determine the amount of distance a defensive player must allow."

It was Rick Fox ranting about how the Harden-Parsons call was a sham and the Mavs got robbed.

It was a tough call in real-time... I remember being completely tense anticipating a charge. Refs almost NEVER give the ball handler the benefit of the doubt.

I went NUTS when the ref called it a block. You'd think Harden dunked over Parsons.
