Parsons is going to get more heat than John Cena.

I like Ariza as a fit on this team because of his D and 3ball, but Parsons is a much better overall player.

Parsons is a glue guy that really facilitates the offense...helps keep it moving and fluid. We saw how ****ty it looked last year when he went out, how good it was when he came back, how ****ty it looks now, and how awesome Dallas looks on O. Not really much of a question. Worth the price tag, Dallas didn't lose by paying him what he got. They underpaid Dirk because he took the paycut and moved some of his salary to Parsons.

You are right. He's a glue guy, nothing more. Dirk's on his last legs so who will the Mavs turn to next once he's gone?

What?? How did our glue guy do in the playoffs? Or against strong opposition? Don't think you get the difference between a strong regular season team and a legitimate playoff contender. Lots of you get fooled by reg season stats that don't translate to playoff ball. Great decision by morey, embarrassing that rocket fans still talk about him.

You wanna talk about embarrassing playoff performances? How about Harden when the refs swallow their whistles? Parsons was just stupid enough to mouth off about being the best player in the series. And even when he was here, we were talking about him as a 3rd star...unlike James who we consider to be our franchise player.

Who cares what happens when Dirk is gone. The Mavs have gone all in with the group of players they have right now. They may not have enough to win a championship, but at least they are trying. Considering that Dirk is on his last legs, I think the Mavs have done a good job of surrounding him a team that at least has an outside shot at a championship.

I think I've seen you post variants of this statement several times.

Did you miss the speed in which the deal happened, the situation it forced the Rockets into, the goofy photos released with the deal, or the long series of comments since then?
