Dream created Clutch City, the place this site was named after.

Watt hasn't created anything yet, but he is more popular in 2014 than a dude who brought eternal glory to a city in the 90s and brought the basketball spot light to a football town since the 80s.

If you're referring to what you heard on 790 this morning... I hope you realize they were joking about all of that.

Also, that wasn't really Matthew Mcconaughey that called in.

Man, 790 really has you fooled.

Not many cities can claim a greater duo than OlajuWatt.. even fewer since 1990.

They were in LA. It wasnt on tape delay. It's Hakeem not Akeem. He corrected everyone and changed it 30 years ago. Still think Hakeem is more popular but that's because Watt's Texans haven't won anything.

JJ is awesome, but he came off like a jackass making fun of the Titans qb for taking those selfies.

Hakeem brought this city two titles.

    He should be #1.

I thought Dream said he was against statues for religious reasons which was why they didn't put one up.

has nothing to do with the topic, but I was listening to one of those on Location Texans show, when a couple of Kansas city exiles, lewis and powe, talked about having to watch WATT film, not as scouting for one game but every week. as part of film study. thought that was pretty school

I have no problem with it if he does the same to some established quarterbacks in the league... But J.J. picking on Mettenburger was like kicking a puppy.

I wonder how many fans have became Texans fans outside of Houston and or watch the Texans because of J.J. Watt... People outside of Houston definitely wanted to see Dream play...

Football is America's number one sport.

It trumps basketball in rating every year by a wide margin.

J.J. Watt is America's poster boy on defense. He is the Lebron James of the league on defense.

Hakeem played shadow to Jordan in the sport much like Durant, Melo, etc are shadowed by Lebron.

JJ Watt is a house hold name much like Brady, Manning, Rodgers. He is big time and is and always will be more popular than Hakeem. Just the truth.

Just because football is king doesn't mean fans (outside of Houston) are tuning into Texans games just to watch J.J. And Brady, Manning, and Rodgers are house hold names because of their play on the field and because they are champions _ J.J. is famous because of marketing and not necessarily his play on the field and or helping the Texans win championships.

It seems to me that people who live in Houston _ think the Rockets and Olajuwon was their own lil secret.

Pretty sure fans know Watt is all-world. They know he's won DPOY, does pick 6's , and swats passes. He is marketed because of his play on the field. The fact you have to mention QBs (the main faces of football, the most important, and exciting positions) as arguments against a defensive lineman is a credit to JJ. It's not fair to compare a basketball player to him either regarding who's tuning in to specifically watch.

btw- Hakeem is underrated nationally, so yeah he is somewhat a secret

If that's the case where does AJ Foyt rank?
