New update details, including DLNA and MKV support. If you are in the preview program the system should update starting today.
That MKV support is pretty big. Even though I'll likely just use Plex for all movie or TV show needs, it's nice to know that now you can just plug in a USB stick with an MKV file and it'll play it.

It is a savvy business move. They will more than make up for price drop through new titles coming out this winter and next year. Games are what will sell these things. Games are a coming.
MS is about hurt Sony. MS will use is healthy financial status to put pressure on Sony. Sony can't afford to sell the PS4 at a loss and it would need a redesign to get cheaper. MS can afford to lose on the Xbox One, but having a non-kinect option allows them to have a much cheaper version. I expect to see a $299 xb1 on Black Friday with a permanent $299 version by late spring/early summer with the kinect version at $399.
So far Xbox One is a better value with more and better games..... These moves are gonna land Xbox exactly where they want to be, in people's homes.... Once there its all about the games and so far Xbox has the advantage....
The cinematics are awesome; that's what Blur Studios does. They've been killing in game cinematics forever. The problem is...you don't play the cinematics. I'm getting MCC, and it looks nice and all, but it won't look anything like those cinematics in game.
Okay since I have both I'm inclined to ask -- where are you getting this "more and better" games thing? As best I can tell there's 2 games that Xbox One has out right now (worth playing) that you can't play on PS4; Forza Horizon and Sunset Overdrive. You know what...nevermind, I'm not going to even get into this with you again.

You answered your own question Seclusion... Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2.... In a couple of weeks MCC is coming out.... That is what I'm basing my statement in.... I honestly don't think PS4 has anything coming out this year to even touch Xbox One..... That's why I said "for now".... Stop defending PS4 so much, you know Xbox One is now cheaper with better games.... End of story man... When PS4 drops the price and releases something worthy to even touch MCC get at me... Ill accept the truth instead of blindly defending my console of choice....
