This is what I thought too, until I just checked in over there tonight!

The mods are taking the right approach, but they can't stop every poster, and I have to say, a few of the post-ers seem just as juvenile, and ridiculous and infuriating as many here have said. Maybe I just tuned it out last year? I knew they were bad, but not THAT bad. But tonight.. Yikes!

Why would rockets fans go to lakers site ?

Clutchfans and lakers ground must find people with the same ip eliminate all fake fans.

    you have a point.

but there is this particular quality of annoying that they have mastered - they say it's okay for them to just like Lin and not care about the team because they have the "right". they talk about the other side's twisted and laughable "fallacies" and blindness.

(this when people are still responding very patiently and thoughtfully)

. you just want to shake them by their immature little entitled 12 year old behinds. :)

It only makes sense if he uses social media to MAINTAIN his image. Otherwise, why would Lin market himself when the market is already there? Lin never created his market; the media did. No amount of self-promotion is as affective and powerful as the marketing by the media. It's free and effortless.

He could've easily picked up a few mils in sponsorship each summer but Lin is rarely seen in Asia ads. Unlike some guy named Pacman.....

you can't be on a lakers board and a rockets board, pick a team and stay with them.

yes the answer is that they are neither Rockets fans or Lakers fans, they are parasites that you pick up when you eat streetfood that was undercooked because you wanted to be like that dude on bizzare foods

It's going to be an ugly night for Lin and his fans. I expect turnovers, missed jumpers, broken keyboards, tears and shattered dreams.

It's gonna be an ugly night for all of us if Rockets can't get a win, regardless of how many bricks Lin throws up.

Lakers offense consists of basically Kobe in the post, Kobe jumper off a pick, Kobe pull-up Iso, and the occasional Lin pick and roll. If Lin ends up scoring 20+, it'll only be because Kobe played awful and couldn't carry the offensive load - which means we should win by double digits.

This thread is great. To suggest otherwise is preposterous.
