'Addicted'- 2.1/10. With better acting, better actors, some re writing of the script, this movie could have had some potential.
A Most Wanted Man 7.8/10 PSH's last movie I believe. Plays a German Intelligence Cooperative that is working in Hamburg and trying to stop terrorist funding from Europe. Has to fight against other Intelligence agencies for what he is trying to do. A Chechnyan man with a dark past shows up on the scene and causes things to come to a head. Recommend the movie to people who like a nice character driven political intrigue flick that doesn't have a pretty ending. PSH's accent bothers me and that's why it didn't score higher.
JOHN WICK (IMAX) (9/10). Usually I don't see Imax movies, but I had a gift card so I used it on that. It's not necessary for this movie though. This movie is legit. Non stop action. some dark humor. It had action like equalizer and the RAID. Keanu Reeves went off!!!
Ouija. Saw this at the movie tavern last night. The food was delicious and service better than half the restaurants I go to. The movie was very ehh. Seems like it stole a piece of every scary movie ever made. Good thing I was eating doe.
My youngest daughter and I like most scary movies and from the commercials we'd like to see it. But my worry is that they have run so many slightly different commercials that I am afraid we have already seen all the "scary" parts. You're right though... seems like they have borrowed most of them. The idea of eating dinner while at a movie is always a good one... thanks for the reminder. And yes, the food at Movie Tavern is surprisingly good...
stonehearst asylum (8/10) saw it on iTunes. sneak peek I think. based on Edgar Allen Poe short story.
A Simple Plan - 8 out of 10. A bit dated, but strong performance by the leads (Paxton, Fonda and especially Thornton).
Do yourself a favor and see it and the first one. This literally was me throughout both movies: Spoiler
