This is funny Anthony F. Irwin @AnthonyIrwinNBA 21h21 hours ago @MarkG_Medina so wait the Lakers have $20M+ committed to PGs and Byron Scott saved RONNIE PRICE'S legs?
i really like ed davis, even in his toronto days, for his peanut contract he's way outperformed, randle on the other hand is not ready, bye bye to roy
ed davis is one nice pick up for lakers from the offseason can rebound, set screen/pick, finish at rim , block . cant believe this is available @ mere 1m
yep he's been great it happened because it is basically a one year contract .. Davis knew what he was doing. after playing behind ZBo and marc he saw the chance to have a bigger role in LA, and showcase himself to get a big contract.
I know a lot of people hate discussion about the psyche of the players - and especially the over analysis of what some would say is Lin's fragile psyche. But I find it kind of fun. I don't know if I agree with everything in your post, but I do think there was something off with the Rockets' team dynamic last year -- maybe the C Parsons diva effect some have been alluding to, although I don't quite get. I think it will be better this year, Harden and Howard have had a year together, the players have more defined roles. I think a lot of it turns on Harden -- he is the centrifuge.. and I am hoping his offseason experience will make him a better leader this year. I'm a big J Harden fan, so I think it will.
Earvin Magic Johnson @MagicJohnson 6m6 minutes ago Jeremy Lin is going to be a good starting PG for the Lakers w/ his ability to get in the lane and create shots for himself & his teammates.
there is a different between setting a proper one and a half ass'ed . he is charging 1m for all those listed. cant complain much
They've got no one else to score especially after Kobe succumbs to another season ending injury. Lin will get 40+ minutes a night and as many shots as he wants.
There are three things Lin does which will drive any coach nuts: 1) Commit lots of turnovers especially given the position he plays 2) Makes some terrible decisions (driving in the lane and picking his dribble up, jumping in the air to pass, etc.) 3) Erratic performance. You dont know which Lin will show up. Based on what I have seen from Scott in the past, I dont expect Lin to get a free pass.
Magic also said that tmac and yao were the next kobe and Shaq. Magic got fired from tnt and espn. Lin is similar to magic in one way, he does lots of no look passes
I watched the game and he has weak handles and still tries to drive in the middle, instead of shooting a floater.
