I died a little inside after the 4th 24 second violation. Ball movement was terrible.

Pass pass pass contested 3 or blocked shot in the post.

    Ugly.

I think Dwyane Wade used up approximately 3% of the cartilage remaining in his knees to get this preseason win.

    Good job Miami.

People need to relax it kind of says something when miami beats u by 5 when ur starters didnt play 4th Quarter. Rockets starters look good i think by january we will have a solid rotation.

Maybe. But Daniels is usually in good defensive position, and Harden, well... He seems to try on D a little bit, now and then, sort of randomly. Offensively, I like all that shooting surrounding the HnH PnRs.

Capela is a complete unknown. I'm hoping he'll replace Dorsey at backup C and turn into Dwight's heir apparent, but who knows?

I did not watch the second half. Could anybody tell me when we started to lose where we were up 11 after the half? Were all the starters still on the court when we were losing?

Disagree. Threes were just going in, and was playing good defense and getting some transition plays. But at positional offense the team struggled to get clean 1on1 plays with Dwight, to get the ball to him. Had numerous bad possesions ending with bad positionating / bad shots. Made some tough threes (including off the bounce threes) at a high %.... that at the 2nd half didn't fall. And that's our offense.

Me too, but I think our position of greatest need is PG.

Yeah he shouldn't have taken all those shots, but my guess is Mchale has seen enough in practice to let him do so. I'm sure they will fall eventually. On a positive note it looks like he is more than just a "3 & D" player which was almost everyone's initial thought on this forum.

I see him in the rising stars challenge.

I agree, but I think once Kostas adjusts to the speed, strength and the three point line of the NBA he will be a very good bench player (hopefully by the end of the year).

1st half was great, didn't really like what I saw in the 3rd quarter from the 1st unit. No defense and surprisingly inefficient offense. Although the 2nd/3rd stringers hanging in there with the Heat starters at the end of the game was nice to see.

A couple things that stood out to me: DMo had some of the worst post defense I've ever seen tonight. Just let Chris Bosh waltz by him two or three times for an easy layup.

And the backup PG situation is pretty depressing.

This will probably be the heats best game this season.

I really think we should Post up Dmo every time and space the floor. Terry, daniels, Garcia, Pop, Dmo.
