Even though it would have been nice if colleges had been standardized and ubiquitous enough postwar that individual (public) campuses didn't feel the need to compete with each other promotionally and create unnecessary budgetary, cost and enrollment disparities, no thank you to any of this. Shoot for a tough school, then one with a higher end alumni network, then the best private or public school in a large city. If you can't do any of those things then get a practical or intellectually prestigious major, ditch the partying or spring break fantasies and live at the library for the next four years. Also, particularly for the isolated and unrealistic worldview and social makeup they present in the context of the working world, black colleges really shouldn't even exist anymore.
Pretty sure UT and A&M have similar salaries. Does it mean that only rich gets into UT? Maybe top 10% rule?
But you do need to post your salary on a basketball message board to feel good about yourself, enjoy the coke habit.
There comes a point where money isn't everything. I make half of what you make but work 36.5 hours a week. I wouldn't change my situation either. I'm sure my hourly rate is higher than yours. But enjoy your early to mid 20's working your tail off...you wont get those years back. You working on the CFA?
GO BEARS! It's good to see that CAL is ranking high on both the academic rankings and social mobility rankings. With doing away with affirmative action this has been a huge issue in the UC system so this is good news that Cal is still able to provide social mobility.
Most people that publicize there income make about half of what they say. I don't believe you BRO! If you are telling the truth, then Congrats!:grin:

It does take in to account the #of Low income students who enroll. Thats more important than financial aid because a LOT of middle class students take financial aid
