Interesting read. I loved Prometheus for all the big questions it tried to explore. Ridley could have played it safe, but didn't, and I respect him for that. But yeah there were still quite a few plot holes in it. It's too bad they ditched some of those things in the original script. Reminds me of the original Indy IV script. Don't know if I'm looking forward to this or not. I didn't think Prometheus was a movie that begged for a sequel, much like Avatar. But I'd be open to returning to that world again.

Off the record he claimed that he was disappointed with the story of Prometheus but when the company pitched the sequel he agreed. Indeed the sequel is going to be better but it will NOT focus on the space engineers planet but on planet earth. Characters from earth will be introduced as signals from the spaceship Noomi is on will prompt Wayland sponsored military to go after it before it reaches earth. Noomis character will die in the middle, but a woman hero (military) will take her place. We will not see the engineers planet until the third installment known as Paradise. The second is known under it's working name as Prometheus: Hell on Earth.

Ridley is not going to live long enough to complete this trilogy...fortunately. I know...that was bad and I apologize. Please complete this trilogy so we can finish it off with even more poor reviews. Star Wars will rule the day again soon...right JJ?
I like this movie and I like the idea of other beings who created us and i'm looking forward to their home planet
Same. The movie wasn't a masterpiece like 2001, however I enjoyed it despite its shortcomings with the script (whose original version was better). I look forward to the sequel.
I really don't understand how it's a horrible script? It was a good movie and one that was original and makes you THINK, unlike other garbage out.
The director basically said he believes in an alien being our real god. Took me a lot of thinking to get there though.
My friend, you need to look deeper. The atmosphere and scenic views full of what ifs. Your brain needs more fish oil caps.
Just because transformers is even worse it does not make this movie good. Prometheus was a terrible movie full of plotholes.
I didn't like that transformers were all GM cars. I don't see any sponsorship for the engineers or the aliens . only that fake corporation that keeps trying get aliens as bio weapons
